Food Service Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Erin Ridge Dairy Queen. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities:- Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles.
- Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Reporting and Administration: Prepare and submit reports, maintaining accurate records and ensuring that all administrative tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Personal Suitability: Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Participation in Government or Community Programs: Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees.
- Support for Social and Labour Market Integration: Support the social and labour market integration of newcomers and/or refugees, facilitating access to community resources, language training, and skills training.
- Cultural Competency Training: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees, creating a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
- Access to Elders: Facilitate access to Elders who can offer support and guidance to Indigenous workers.
