IT Manager Job Description

Wurth Canada Limited is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead our technology team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing IT strategies that support our business goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of IT professionals, including IT Support, Applications, and Network/Database Administrators.
  • Manage, evaluate, plan, and implement IT and Security best practices, systems, and methodology to ensure compliance, integrity, and availability.
  • Oversee all IT infrastructure across Canada, including software, applications, and development activities.
  • Collaborate with internal managers to understand their needs and drive efficiencies and scalability.
  • Develop strategic plans for the future development of the IT department and spearhead major parts of the change management process.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT operations, growing, or setting up IT functions, and supporting large information technology projects.
  • Proven track record of initiating process efficiencies and developing information technology processes and procedures.
  • Strong organization skills and ability to balance project work with urgent day-to-day tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Fully bilingual (French/English) is greatly preferred - verbal and written.
  • Experience with ERP migration is an asset.
