About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpentry Specialist to join our team at JY Shinwoo Construction Ltd. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and layout building sites in accordance with building codes, using precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join various materials, including wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials, to create high-quality structures.
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a seamless and secure finish.
  • Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites, ensuring timely completion and minimal disruptions.
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial properties, including wooden structures in various settings.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work in a fast-paced construction environment, with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling required.
  • Handle heavy loads and work at heights, requiring physical stamina and endurance.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • 2 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a reputable construction company.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
  • Ability to work 30-40 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing project demands.
