Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Realtrustia Property Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and reconciling accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, ensuring timely and accurate payments to employees.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements, providing a clear picture of the company's financial health.
  • Post journal entries, ensuring accurate and compliant financial record-keeping.
  • Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
  • Prepare tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Reconcile accounts, identifying and resolving any discrepancies or errors.
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates, helping the company make informed financial decisions.
Requirements
  • College/CEGEP education in a relevant field, such as accounting or finance.
  • 3-5 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
