Job Title: Accounting Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Bookkeeper to join our team at Tax & Accounting by Rumy. As an Accounting Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Reconcile accounts
  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Fast-paced environment and tight deadlines
  • Ability to work with MS Excel, MS Access, and other accounting software
