Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Manager to join our team at CH Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the transportation of goods and ensuring that our logistics operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Management
    • Manage the transportation budget and ensure that all expenses are within approved limits.
    • Monitor and analyze financial reports to identify areas for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Logistics Coordination
    • Coordinate the transportation of goods, including arranging for shipping documentation and tracking and tracing of goods in transit.
    • Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods.
  • Negotiation and Communication
    • Negotiate with carriers and suppliers to secure preferential rates and services.
    • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including sales, customer service, and operations teams.
  • Operational Management
    • Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods.
    • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that they are running efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a transportation or logistics role.

Working Conditions
