We are seeking a qualified Teacher-Counsellor to join our team in the Division Services Centre on a temporary part-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will provide support and guidance to students, staff, and families in a dynamic and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individual and group counselling services to students, staff, and families
- Develop and implement counseling programs and services to meet the needs of our diverse student population
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive and supportive learning environment
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in counseling and education
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to student support and well-being
- Master's degree in Counselling or a related field
- Teaching certification or equivalent experience
- Experience working with diverse student populations and communities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
