Bakery Production Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Production Specialist to join our team at Baxter's Bakery (Cobourg) Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for preparing dough, batters, and icings for a variety of baked goods, including pies, bread, rolls, and sweet treats.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dough and batters according to recipes and special customer orders
  • Bake mixed dough and batters to perfection
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods with precision and attention to detail
  • Ensure the quality of products meets our high standards
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Organize and maintain inventory to optimize production efficiency
  • Package products for distribution and sale
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or food manufacturing environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
