About the Role:
At TextNow, we are on a mission to transform communication for everyone. We are seeking a Senior Product Manager for Data Monetization who is passionate about mobile applications and has a strong analytical mindset. This role is pivotal in driving our strategy to responsibly monetize user data through partnerships with advertising technology vendors and external collaborators.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Development: Formulate and execute a comprehensive product strategy focused on First Party Data, ensuring user privacy and compliance are prioritized. You will have the autonomy to influence key company objectives and revenue growth.
- Team Leadership: Cultivate and guide a high-performing, cross-functional team. Promote a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere that encourages innovation and calculated risk-taking.
- Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with Engineering, Business Analytics, Data Science, Ad Sales, and Revenue Operations to assess and select appropriate third-party partners for verification and audience measurement.
- Data-Driven Insights: Own the key performance indicators and objectives that measure success. Design and implement experimentation strategies, analyze results, and iterate to enhance product features for maximum impact.
- User Advocacy: Gain a deep understanding of our users' needs and advocate for solutions that address their challenges while enhancing engagement. Ensure the quality of your product positively influences user experience and application performance.
- Executive Engagement: Manage expectations of stakeholders and collaborate with C-level executives to ensure alignment with our strategic vision. Your role will be influential in shaping the future direction of TextNow.
Qualifications:
- Experienced Product Leader: Over 7 years of experience with a proven track record in monetizing customer data at scale.
- Dynamic Leader: A proactive and energetic leader who inspires urgency and enthusiasm within their team.
- Champion of Experimentation: A proponent of testing and experimentation who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Ad Measurement Specialist: Expertise in the iOS/Android advertising technology landscape, with a focus on First Party Data collection and analysis.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to leverage data to design scalable monetization strategies from both consumer and business perspectives.
- Effective Communicator: Comfortable navigating ambiguity and capable of influencing stakeholders across various levels of the organization.
- Comprehensive Product Ownership: Demonstrated ability to manage the product development lifecycle from concept through to optimization.
- Preferred Background: Experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist transitioning into Product Management.
