Job Summary

At Sunrise Senior Living, we are seeking a highly skilled Medication Aide to join our team. As a Medication Aide, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Document all medication administration, including dosages, times, and any adverse reactions.
  • Monitor residents for any signs of medication side effects or interactions.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely medication administration.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest level of care for our residents.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Current certification as a Medication Aide or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
