Context and Responsibilities
As a Director of Product Management, you will lead a team of product professionals responsible for managing a portfolio of school management solutions. You'll play a crucial role in defining processes, practices, planning, capacity management, and overseeing the delivery of these solutions.
Your Impact
- Champion the organizational vision and implement strategic initiatives within the education sector, collaborating closely with sector managers.
- Provide leadership, support, and guidance to your team of product professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Establish a robust product management framework that delivers high-value solutions to customers. This includes understanding customer needs, prioritizing initiatives, ensuring solution sustainability, leveraging data-driven insights, and implementing rigorous product management processes using recognized methodologies, OKRs, and KPIs.
- Optimize resource allocation to ensure synergy and a balanced workload distribution across teams.
- Conduct strategic analyses to inform decision-making at all levels.
- Collaborate closely with support, services, and development departments to implement, enhance, or discontinue solutions based on their impact and effectiveness.
- Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for the board, providing insights into product management strategies and organizational efficiency.
Your Profile
- University degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience and education combination.
- Minimum of seven to ten years of product management experience in the IT industry.
- Minimum of five years of management experience leading product teams.
- Experience in complex IT environments with a strong interest in education and digital technologies.
- Awareness of the latest developments and trends in the field.
- Strong political acumen and excellent communication and management skills.
- Proficiency in French communication and functional knowledge of English.
