Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Clinical Operations Manager at Fraser Health. This is a key leadership position that requires a strong understanding of healthcare operations and a proven track record of success in managing clinical services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to clinical operations teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement operational plans and strategies to achieve departmental objectives and improve patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with medical staff, other departments, and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of clinical services.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of financial and human resources.
  • Investigate and respond to complaints and grievances in a fair and timely manner.
  • Represent the department in third-party venues and participate in strategic planning and clinical services development.
  • Act as a resource to care teams and provide expert consultative advice to other healthcare practitioners.
Requirements
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree in health sciences or a related field, plus seven years' recent related experience, including two years in a leadership role.
  • Excellent oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and ability in related clinical healthcare practice, education, and program planning, development, implementation, and evaluation.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and carry out projects.
  • Knowledge of department management processes under collective agreements.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of budget planning and preparation principles, concepts, and methods.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide progressive and innovative approaches to service delivery and program issues.
  • Knowledge of research methodology, practices, and techniques.
  • Excellent investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and with changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Information Systems applications, tools, and concepts.
