About the Role

We are seeking experienced Production Labourers to join our Precast division at Holcim in Calgary. As a Labourer, you will provide support in all areas of the plant, ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment.
  • Position or dismantle forms for pouring concrete, ensuring accurate and efficient production.
  • Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers in maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
  • Participate in daily Pre-Production Meetings to discuss production plans and address any concerns.
  • Complete Field Level Risk Assessments before beginning each task to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a production line setting, preferably in a precast plant.
  • Ability to lift 55 lbs and work in a fast-paced, high-production environment.
  • Willingness to work overtime and shifts when needed, including Saturdays.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills and a safety-oriented mindset.
