Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

MILER XPRESS INC is seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across the country, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and adjust routes to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions
  • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring safe and efficient transportation
  • Load and unload goods, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Obtain special permits and documents required for international routes
  • Operate and maintain trucks, performing regular inspections and maintenance tasks
  • Perform emergency roadside repairs and ensure the vehicle is in good working condition
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo
Requirements:
  • AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
  • Basic security clearance and criminal record check
  • Medical exam and drug test
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a strong work ethic
