Position Overview:

The Quality Assurance Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our connected services and vehicle health reporting features.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough testing of service and quality data feeds, as well as vehicle health report applications, while addressing customer field issues related to these services.
  2. Update and maintain comprehensive test plans based on defect tracking and evolving requirement specifications.
  3. Develop detailed test cases, including corner cases, and execute Failure Mode Effects Analysis.
  4. Perform various testing types, including performance, ad hoc, functional, stability, user experience, and regression testing for both new and existing product enhancements, utilizing vehicles, Bench Top Testers, and during field tests.
  5. Create, clarify, retest, and verify defects, providing clear and accurate assessments to facilitate resolution by Development Engineers.
  6. Oversee defect reporting and tracking, ensuring effective communication with relevant teams and management, including management of Ecims.
  7. Adapt and refine test cases as necessary for SQDF and VHR.
  8. Understand and work with SQDF, which involves the collection of vehicle diagnostic data uploaded to the cloud.
  9. Familiarize with VHR, the customer health report generated from SQDF data.

Qualifications:

  1. 3-5 years of experience in design, manufacturing engineering, or product development processes.
  2. Experience with total vehicle subsystems.
  3. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  4. Proficiency with CAN is essential; experience with connected services is preferred.
  5. Diagnostic knowledge is advantageous.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited institution is required.
