Electrical Engineering Co-op Opportunity

This co-op position will support the Electrical Engineering Department in project work and provide assistance to our manufacturing operations in North America.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, edit, and update electrical schematics and layout drawings in AutoCAD based on input from supervisors or team members.
  • Develop and update documentation.
  • Assist senior engineers with their responsibilities.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 3rd or 4th year student enrolled in University.
  • Excellent organization and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication (written, verbal, and presentation) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to establish priorities and work effectively in a team.
  • Works well independently.
  • Understanding of basic electrical theory and control circuits.
  • Understanding of Basic PLC programming in ladder logic.
  • Ability to create and edit AutoCAD drawings.

Working Conditions:

Hours of work will be primarily Monday through Friday (30 – 40 hours, day shift).
