**Job Summary**

As a Bakery Department Manager at Walmart Canada, you will be responsible for leading a team of Bakery Associates to deliver exceptional customer service and meet production targets.

**Key Responsibilities**

  1. **Merchandise Receipt and Inventory Management**: Receive and inspect merchandise, utilize equipment efficiently, and maintain accurate inventory records.
  2. **Visual Merchandising**: Maintain a visually appealing sales floor by stocking and rotating merchandise, removing damaged or expired items, and setting up attractive product displays.
  3. **Team Leadership**: Recruit, select, train, and develop Bakery Associates to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles.
  4. **Customer Service**: Greet customers in a friendly and polite manner, assist with product inquiries, and promote products and services to drive sales.
  5. **Store Within A Store (SWAS) Planning**: Participate in SWAS meetings to review reports, ensure in-stock levels, and execute merchandising and replenishment programs to drive sales and profitability.
  6. **Loss Prevention and Safety**: Identify and address high-shrink items, maintain a safe work environment, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  7. **Administrative Tasks**: Complete required paperwork, including inventory tracking reports, throwaway records, invoices, and assignment notes.

**Compensation and Qualifications**

The minimum rate of pay for this position starts at $20.00 per hour, with opportunities for advancement based on relevant experience.

**Minimum Requirements**

Age: 16 or older
