As a Distribution Team Lead at The Dufresne Group, you will be responsible for supervising and training the distribution team members to meet the company's strategic, competitive, and internal needs while ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with initial training and orientation of new team members to develop furniture handling skills, proficiency in using tools, and high-quality customer service.
- Providing performance improvement suggestions to the distribution supervisory team based on team feedback and observation.
- Ensuring that all training and compliance is current and managed with all team members within our safety guidelines.
- Prioritizing work assignment and handling multiple tasks to ensure that all distribution assigned tasks are completed as scheduled.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma, with a minimum of 1 year of distribution center experience.
- Knowledge of relevant industry standards.
- Ability to learn in-house computer programs.
- Highly effective decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent technical and communication skills.
- Ability to coach and train other team members.
- Ability to adapt to change in a business environment.
- Good physical condition with stamina to lift at least 50 – 100 pounds.
- Flexible work schedules to meet the requirements of the operation (available Monday-Friday evenings and Saturday).
