Position Overview:

This role is integral to the effective management of hockey equipment operations within the athletic department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Equipment Manager in the daily operational needs of hockey equipment, ensuring all uniforms and gear are properly fitted and maintained for safety and compliance.
  • Oversee the laundering requirements for both team apparel and uniforms, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for use.
  • Support the Equipment Manager in maintaining an organized equipment room and ensure that changerooms for players and officials are stocked and orderly.
  • Coordinate equipment logistics, including skate sharpening, and remain available during scheduled practices and games.
  • Manage the packing and transportation of equipment for game day operations.
  • Attend home games and travel to away games as required.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Equipment Manager.
