About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Governance Specialist to join our team at KAN Security Inc. as a Database Administrator. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing databases, operating database management systems, and analyzing data to support business decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Database Design and Development: Design and develop databases to meet the needs of our organization, ensuring data integrity and security.
  • Data Analysis: Operate database management systems to analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights to support business decisions.
  • Data Administration: Develop and implement data administration policies, standards, and models to ensure data quality and security.
  • Research and Documentation: Research and document data requirements, data collection, and administration policies, as well as data access rules to ensure compliance.
  • Policies and Procedures: Develop policies and procedures for network access and usage, and for the backup and recovery of data to ensure business continuity.
  • Scripting: Write scripts related to stored procedures and triggers to automate database tasks and improve efficiency.
  • User Requirements: Collect and document user requirements to ensure that database solutions meet business needs.
Supervision and Teamwork
  • Supervision: Supervise 1 to 2 team members to ensure that database tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that database solutions meet business needs and support business objectives.
