Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Deployment Specialist to join our team at NTT DATA Services. As a key member of our deployment team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth deployment of Salesforce solutions to various environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Gather requirements and define, design, and implement DevOps architecture for Salesforce deployments.
  2. Deploy releases to various environments and perform hotfixes and rollbacks as needed.
  3. Write build scripts and pipelines to implement end-to-end build and deployment orchestration.
  4. Verify successful continuous delivery deployments.
  5. Define and implement branching strategies to support parallel software development.
  6. Review continuous delivery validation builds for failures and resolve deployment issues with Development & Configuration teams.
  7. Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS.
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer-I, Salesforce Certified App Builder, Development Lifecycle and Deployment Architect.
  • 5+ years of experience working with the Salesforce platform and a deep understanding of Salesforce metadata and configuration.
  • Deep understanding of DevOps best practices and modern CI/CD design principles within an Agile environment.
  • Deep understanding of scratch orgs and proficient working with implementing package-based deployments in Salesforce.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Copado, Flosum, or other CI/CD tools.
