Key Responsibilities:


• Strategically plan and coordinate all facets of multiple research initiatives across various locations.


• Cultivate interdisciplinary, inter-institutional, and inter-sectoral research partnerships.


• Formulate budgets for research initiatives.


• Address challenges at all stages of project development and execution, assisting in the modification of protocols or procedures as necessary.


• Collaborate with a team to develop and author research protocols.


• Recruit participants for projects and engage agencies for referrals.


• Review referrals and monitor intake from various sources.


• Create a comprehensive implementation plan for research initiatives.


• Design promotional strategies and materials to enhance participation and support for the research initiatives.


• Conduct both quantitative and qualitative analyses of research data.


• Interview participants involved in the projects.


• Facilitate focus group discussions with project participants.


• Oversee the collection, delivery, entry, verification, analysis, and reporting of data.


• Supervise the design of databases, data collection forms, error-checking methods, and related programs for data handling.


• Apply specialized knowledge and scientific principles to critically evaluate and interpret published literature.


• Contribute to the writing of scientific papers, funding proposals, and abstracts.


• Estimate time and resource requirements for research initiatives.


• Utilize statistical software for data analysis and result interpretation.


• Document data management and operational procedures for projects.


• Act as a liaison between the project center and remote project sites and personnel.


• Ensure the application of relevant research methodologies and adherence to established protocols, policies, and procedures.


• Develop and deliver presentations and training sessions for project personnel and participants.


• Keep project participants updated on progress through regular reports and newsletters.


• Manage research project budgets, create financial forecasts, and adjust budgets as necessary throughout the fiscal year.


• Implement appropriate controls, monitor, and reconcile accounts.


• Conduct literature reviews.

Supervision Responsibilities:

Oversee and direct the activities of up to 4 permanent employees. Responsible for hiring and supervising 10 or more temporary employees concurrently. Provide orientation and training on procedures to others.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in a relevant discipline. A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
