Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team at 2765016 ONTARIO INC. as a Child Development Assistant in a nursery school setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and Implementing Child-Care Programs
  • Storytelling and Creative Activities
  • Assisting with Record Keeping
  • Encouraging Children's Creativity
  • Preparing Snacks and Arranging Rooms
  • Observing Children's Development
  • Attending Staff Meetings
  • Planning Activities for School-Age Children
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a child care centre with a team of 5-10 people. The work environment is noisy, and the candidate must be able to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience
  • Certificates, Licenses, Memberships, and Courses: Child development assistant (ECE level 1)
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, public transportation available
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, bending, crouching, kneeling
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, flexibility, reliability, team player
