Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Bookkeeper to manage our financial records and ensure accuracy in our accounting processes. This role is essential for maintaining the financial health of our establishment.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program lasting 3 months to less than 1 year.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role.
Key Responsibilities
  • Calculate and prepare payroll cheques.
  • Assess fixed assets and manage depreciation.
  • Maintain comprehensive financial records and balance various accounts using both manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
  • Oversee general ledgers and financial statements.
  • Post journal entries accurately.
  • Generate statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed.
  • Prepare tax returns and trial balances.
  • Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.
Technical Skills

Proficiency in accounting software is essential for this role.
