The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled NACE(AMPP) CIP Level 2 Coating Inspector to join our fabrication shop team. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct dimension and visual inspections of welded piping and structural steel
  • Record welder symbols, heat numbers, and radiography numbers on drawings and travel sheets
  • Prepare documentation for and inspect hydrostatic and pneumatic pressure tests
  • Install name plates and coordinate inspections with ABSA, NDE Contractors, and Client TPIs
  • Complete quality control paperwork

Requirements:

  • CWB Level 1 Certification
  • NACE(AMPP) CIP Level 2 Coating Inspector Certification
  • 2+ years of quality control experience in a fabrication environment
  • Solid understanding of ASME and CSA codes and practices
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
  • Flexible to learn new tasks or different client expectations
  • Ability to multi-task and work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to review numerous types of documentation for errors, discrepancies, and missing information
