- Strong experiential background in student transition, particularly working with diverse communities and understanding student issues.
- Intercultural competency awareness and knowledge of theories related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

- Curriculum development and assessment skills for both in-person and virtual delivery.
- Sound presentation, workshop facilitation, and public speaking skills.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, including time management and prioritization skills.
- Strong service orientation and oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of employer recruitment practices and trends.
- Career Development Practitioner certification.
- Experience working with university students and/or recent graduates.
