Our client, ROSS, a prominent player in the financial services sector, is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Solutions Architect.
The Senior Infrastructure Solutions Architect will strategize and ensure that the technology investments in infrastructure align with both present and future business needs, optimizing return on investment for the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Develop and uphold the infrastructure architecture framework that supports ongoing and future business expansion while achieving the lowest possible total cost of ownership (TCO) and maximizing return on infrastructure investments.
2. Oversee the infrastructure architecture knowledge repository, which includes current and target infrastructure inventories, migration strategies, platform interfaces, and systems management standards.
3. Deliver high-level solution designs, cost assessments, and recommendations for new technology deployments and modifications to existing systems. Assist in documenting implementation procedures.
4. Engage in project initiatives and daily IT operations to ensure the consistent application of infrastructure architecture recommendations, standards, and protocols.
5. Conduct research and produce decision documents as necessary to support technology choices.
6. Provide advanced support for significant technology transitions and production challenges.
7. Stay informed on industry standards and practices for IT infrastructure implementation, maintenance, and monitoring through research, vendor insights, and participation in industry conferences.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in designing, developing, deploying, and supporting technical infrastructure within a large-scale enterprise environment. Experience with mainframe and multi-tier architecture integration, network design, monitoring tools, and capacity planning is essential.
2. Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience in implementing large-scale multi-tier architectures, along with the necessary ongoing monitoring, support, and maintenance.
3. Proven ability to collaborate with and mentor other IT professionals.
4. Strong presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal. Capable of discussing technical concepts with IT staff and conveying foundational technology designs to senior management and business leaders.
5. Ability to maintain a long-term vision while providing actionable recommendations and designs for immediate deliverables.
6. Skill in achieving results through motivation and influence without direct authority over team members.
7. Proficient in managing time and priorities across multiple projects.
8. Formal education in Computer Technology, with a degree or diploma in Computer Science or completion of specialized technology programs.
9. Relevant industry certifications and accreditations are required.
