Production Team Lead

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Team Lead to join our team at Atout recrutement. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production plant and achieving our production objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Under the supervision of the production supervisor, you will be responsible for the proper conduct of the entire team during their shift.
- You will be responsible for achieving the objectives, ensuring value-added production by maximizing yield, and managing, commenting, and proposing possible solutions for optimal performance ratios.
- You will ensure compliance with health and safety during your shift and may be called upon to collaborate at other levels depending on production and management needs.
- You will be responsible for implementing, training, and ensuring the execution of standard operating procedures established for each workstation, ensuring continuing training of staff, and data entry on production sheets.
- You will ensure launch scheduling, control production flow, using data indicators to plan workload, ensuring production to best meet objectives.
- You will maintain and strengthen production efficiency, initiate and implement continuous improvement projects, and work with the production supervisor to implement new processes.
- You will act as a link between the production and maintenance department while working with technical staff objectively to resolve problems and minimize downtime.
- You will support the training of new employees and the smooth running of production activities.
Requirements
- Advanced oral and written French language, basic English, intermediate Office.
- Sense of organization and priority management.
- Analytical and focused on results, objectives, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrates a good level of leadership, can work under pressure.
- High level of spoken and written communication.
- Autonomous, professional, and courteous.
- Punctuality and assiduity.
- Concerned about quality and health and safety at work.
Education and Experience
Completed high school diploma or equivalent, experience 1 to 2 years of team management experience in a similar position.
Compensation
$21.50 per hour.
