About the Role:

Ferrero is seeking a skilled Maintenance Millwright to join their manufacturing operations team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance and troubleshooting and repairing of food processing equipment. You will also optimize equipment safety, food safety, and reliability, including the support of preventative maintenance initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a valid Industrial Mechanic / Millwright trade license (433A) and 4-7 years of relevant experience. Previous experience within the food and beverage or consumer packaged goods industry is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimum supervision, or within a team environment, are essential.

The successful candidate will be able to work rotating shifts to support a continuous operation and will be committed to maintaining the highest levels of health and safety, food safety, GMP's and HACCP. Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshoot and repair of food processing equipment
  • Optimize equipment safety, food safety, and reliability including the support of preventative maintenance initiatives
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects including the installation and commissioning of machinery
  • Perform equipment change-over and production line set ups
  • Welding, machining and fabricating where qualified and maintain high sanitation standards, housekeeping and cleanliness of the maintenance shop
