Job Title: Data Scientist

At Momentum Financial Services Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you will play a crucial role in building predictive models and analytical solutions that drive business growth and improve customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement models that leverage various predictive algorithms and analytical techniques to solve complex business problems.
  • Analyze diverse datasets to identify trends and patterns that impact our business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy models that meet business requirements.
  • Conduct thorough model validation and performance monitoring to ensure accuracy and effectiveness.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory requirements related to credit risk modeling.
  • Communicate findings and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in financial services, building predictive models and analytical solutions.
  • Familiarity with bureau data and alternate data is a strong requirement.
  • Experience with structured programming languages, such as Python, R, or SAS.
  • Knowledge of machine learning libraries, such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or Enterprise Miner.
  • Strong experience in SQL and data visualization tools.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Graduate degree in a quantitative field, such as Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics.
