Job Title: Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Nextgen System Canada. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for building predictive models, communicating the business and technical benefits of the analytic solution to both business and technical audiences, and conducting research regarding availability and suitability of data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build predictive models using machine learning algorithms to analyze complex data sets and identify trends and patterns.
  • Communicate the business and technical benefits of the analytic solution to both business and technical audiences through reports, presentations, and data visualizations.
  • Conduct research regarding availability and suitability of data to ensure that data is accurate, complete, and relevant to business needs.
  • Document technical requirements to ensure that products, processes, and solutions meet business requirements.
  • Provide advice on information systems strategy, policy, management, and service delivery.
  • Lead and coordinate teams of data administrators in the development and implementation of data policies, standards, and models.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in data science, business intelligence, or related field.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
  • Experience with machine learning algorithms and data visualization tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment:

Nextgen System Canada is a fast-paced and dynamic work environment that requires individuals to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will be able to work in a fast-paced environment, meet tight deadlines, and have excellent attention to detail.

Language:

The language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

30 to 35 hours per week.
