About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Grocery Store Supervisor to join our team at M&A O'Connor Holdings Inc. As a key member of our retail operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our grocery department, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Supervise and train a team of grocery store staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient store operations.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve sales, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.
  • Inventory Management
    • Oversee inventory levels, manage stockroom operations, and ensure accurate inventory reporting.
    • Implement effective inventory management systems to minimize waste and optimize stock levels.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure exceptional customer service by responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing product recommendations.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to drive loyalty and repeat business.
  • Store Operations
    • Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and security protocols.
    • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 5 years or more of experience in a retail or grocery store environment.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Strong inventory management and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
    • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform manual tasks.
