Job Summary:

Metro Inc. is seeking a skilled Delicatessen Clerk to join our dynamic team. As a Delicatessen Clerk, you will play a vital role in the success of our deli department by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive and count goods for sale, such as deli meats and cheeses, and ensure they are properly stored in designated areas.
• Slice deli meats, cut cheeses, and package them. Weigh, label, and shelve deli meats, cheeses, and other department products as per guidelines.
• Update product prices on shelves when necessary.
• Rotate merchandise on shelves and maintain clean work areas.
• Provide service at the deli counter to customers.
• Adhere to government cleanliness standards.
• Wear required safety equipment.
• Perform any other related tasks as required.
