Work Environment
  • Rural setting

  • Experience in chronic or long-term care facilities
  • Involvement in health care institutions, facilities, or clinics
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver personal care services
  • Offer companionship and emotional support
  • Prepare and serve healthy meals
  • Administer bedside and personal care
  • Assist with feeding when necessary
  • Change non-sterile dressings as required
  • Support regular exercise routines, such as walking
  • Help prevent inadequate nutrition
Qualifications
  • First Aid Certification
  • CPR Certification
  • Personal Support Worker Certification
  • Training in Developmental Services Work (DSW)
