Position Overview:
The Quality Assurance Manager is pivotal in guaranteeing that our products and services adhere to established quality benchmarks and regulatory standards. This role encompasses leading a skilled team, formulating quality assurance protocols, and collaborating with various departments to elevate product and service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quality Assurance Strategy: Formulate and execute a comprehensive quality assurance strategy to ensure our offerings consistently meet or surpass customer expectations.
  2. Process Development: Design and enhance quality assurance methodologies and standards to boost operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  3. Team Leadership: Oversee and mentor a team of quality assurance professionals, fostering a culture of expertise and continuous learning.
  4. Quality Audits: Perform regular audits to evaluate adherence to quality standards, regulations, and internal protocols.
  5. Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams, including product development, operations, and customer support, to cultivate a quality-centric culture throughout the organization.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement initiatives aimed at enhancing product and service quality.
  7. Quality Metrics: Develop and track key quality performance indicators, providing leadership with regular updates on quality outcomes.
  8. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure alignment of quality assurance processes with applicable regulatory standards.
  9. Customer Feedback: Analyze customer feedback and complaints to uncover trends and areas for enhancement.

Accountabilities:

  1. Quality Assurance Effectiveness: Responsible for the efficacy of the quality assurance processes and the attainment of quality objectives.
  2. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to relevant quality standards and regulations.
  3. Site Quality Assurance Professional: Act as the site Quality Assurance Professional.

Knowledge and Skills:

  1. Quality Management: Comprehensive understanding of quality management principles and best practices.
  2. Leadership: Demonstrated leadership capabilities with a track record of inspiring teams to achieve quality targets.
  3. Process Improvement: Proficient in process improvement methodologies, including Six Sigma and Lean.
  4. Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to articulate complex quality concepts to diverse stakeholders.
  5. Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to address quality challenges.

Education and Experience:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., ASQ Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence) is advantageous.
  2. 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance, including 2-3 years in a leadership capacity.
  3. Proven track record in developing and executing effective quality assurance processes.
  4. Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 or industry-specific regulations.
  5. Experience in regulated industries and knowledge of pertinent regulatory requirements.
  6. Strong proficiency in quality management tools and software.
