About the Role

CB Canada is seeking a highly skilled Health and Safety Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting all field management and staff in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct safety meetings and investigations to identify and mitigate risks
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive safety training program
  • Perform site visits to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry best practices
  • Research and stay up-to-date on OHS regulations, client directives, and industry best practices
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies, such as WCB, construction safety associations, and government agencies
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a Health and Safety Advisor role or above
  • Post-secondary education certificate, diploma, or degree in safety and/or environmental fields
  • CRSP designation and Powerline industry experience preferred
  • Exceptional time management and analytical skills
  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment and ability to learn new software
