Hitachi Automotive Systems Americas, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and proactive Senior Manager of RAMS Systems. This role is essential for overseeing the Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) aspects of our projects, ensuring that all operations align with the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize, schedule, and monitor RAMS and Verification & Validation (V&V) activities to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Define and implement the V&V governance strategy for integrated systems and relevant subsystems/products, verifying execution through comprehensive V&V Plan reviews.
- Oversee the creation and management of all project RAMS documentation.
- Facilitate communication between project management, engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless information flow.
- Manage workload effectively, providing periodic updates and analyzing deviations.
- Align RAMS schedules with the overall project timeline to prevent disruptions.
- Proactively identify risks related to cost, schedule, technical aspects, and resources, proposing recovery plans as necessary.
- Utilize knowledge of V&V processes and techniques, RAMS analysis, and relevant international and national standards.
- Demonstrate expertise in RAM/Safety Management and possess strong technical knowledge of systems and subsystems.
- Exhibit project management skills and experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience is preferred. Proficiency in English is required.
