Job Title: Data Scientist

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team at Geofirma Engineering Ltd. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting studies of groundwater flow and contamination, developing models and applied software for the analysis and interpretation of data, and working with our team to identify and implement solutions to complex environmental problems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct studies of groundwater flow and contamination using advanced modeling techniques and software
  • Develop and apply machine learning algorithms to analyze and interpret large datasets
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and implement solutions to complex environmental problems
  • Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Requirements:
  • PhD in a relevant field (e.g. environmental science, computer science, engineering)
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C++, and Fortran
  • Experience with machine learning and data analysis software
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
