We are currently seeking a Production Associate for our Thin Film Coating Department. In this position, you will be integral to the operation of our Thin Film deposition chambers, acquiring the essential skills to evolve into a Thin Film Coating technician. Key Responsibilities:

Operate vacuum coating machinery for the application of single and multi-layer coatings Inspect and clean optical components Prepare, clean, and load coating chambers Conduct metrology measurements, including transmission, reflection, and ellipsometry Foster a commitment to a positive workplace culture

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Completion of Ontario Secondary School Diploma Post-Secondary education in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Manufacturing) Good manual dexterity Strong organizational skills Familiarity with tooling, machining, gauges, and proper equipment usage Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints Knowledge and experience with measuring equipment Excellent communication skills Proven problem-solving abilities and sound decision-making skills Highly motivated with a positive attitude Willingness to learn and gain knowledge through study, instruction, or experience
