Pizza Pizza Food Service Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Pizza Pizza. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain a well-stocked inventory
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and effectively
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control decisions
  • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement
  • Establish work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and efficient workflow
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service establishment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment:

Our food service establishment is a busy and dynamic environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and maintaining high-quality food standards. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be working in a hot and potentially odorous environment, with exposure to food and kitchen equipment.
