Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customer feedback is addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure accurate inventory management.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management as required.
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Team Development
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge.
    • Provide feedback and coaching to staff to improve performance and productivity.
  • Business Development
    • Identify opportunities to improve sales and customer satisfaction.
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer loyalty.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position that requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods and walk frequently.
