Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Karen Kane, a certified B Corp brand, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to assist customers with online orders through inbound calls, outbound calls, and email correspondence. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, patience, and problem-solving skills.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries and concerns via phone, email, and live chat
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of Karen Kane's clothing and products
  • Help receive and prepare incoming ecommerce merchandise for shipment
  • Provide product detail to the Ecommerce team to improve online product descriptions
  • Assist in managing inventory for Accessories and Home Goods categories
  • Document product defects and provide feedback to Shipping and Buying departments
  • Communicate with all departments regarding defective merchandise
  • Offer suggestions to improve team processes and efficiencies
  • Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries and requests
  • Assist customers with placing, tracking, and returning orders
Candidate Requirements:
  • High school diploma / GED
  • Experience with Shopify Plus, Freshdesk, Five9, and/or similar ticket systems
  • Quality control / assurance experience preferred
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in both English and Spanish (bilingual)
  • Self-motivated with the ability to learn new tasks quickly
  • Ability to empathize with and prioritize customer needs
  • Ability to determine customer needs and provide solutions
  • Highly motivated, energetic, and upbeat personality
  • Microsoft Office Knowledge – Outlook, Excel, and Word
  • Ability to work independently and with a team
