Position Overview

Internship Role:

The Mechanical Design Internship provides engineering students with the chance to engage in the validation and verification processes within the electrical motors laboratory.

Key Responsibilities
Primary Duties:
  • Develop detailed instructions and work orders for laboratory personnel,
  • Innovate and design new tooling for the testing laboratory,
  • Conduct comprehensive tests to validate fixturing,
Required Skills and Knowledge:
  • Expertise in Siemens NX 3-D modeling software is mandatory,
  • A strong mechanical aptitude is essential,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is crucial,
  • Familiarity with hydraulic systems is advantageous,
  • Experience with data acquisition systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is beneficial,
Educational Background:

This position is ideally suited for students in their 3rd or 4th year of mechanical engineering or a related field.
