Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain application code in accordance with software requirements and design specifications.
- Identify and rectify software bugs through code analysis.
- Conduct various testing phases including unit, integration, regression, and system testing.
- Ensure technical accuracy and compliance with established standards during code reviews.
- Implement best practices and adhere to company standards, including version control and configuration management.
- Provide Level 3 application and technical support for our software solutions.
- Mentor junior developers through effective coaching and constructive feedback.
- Meet deadlines related to product release schedules while consistently delivering assigned tasks.
- Propose and implement improvements to development practices and tools.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
- Over 5 years of experience in software development.
- Expertise in .NET C# and JavaScript frameworks.
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server and data modeling techniques.
- Experience in troubleshooting and debugging in production settings.
- Previous experience mentoring junior developers.
- Strong understanding of software design principles and architecture.
- Aptitude for translating product requirements into technical specifications.
- Knowledge of Jira and Confluence tools.
- Understanding of agile development methodologies.
- Awareness of security best practices in software development.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced, small team environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ASP.NET Core.
- Familiarity with ERP software, particularly in Financial or Human Resources/Payroll domains.
- Knowledge of 4GL programming languages.
- Experience with GitLab for Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment.
- Experience in creating and managing containerized applications within cloud environments.
