We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team at 11215167 CANADA INC. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and co-ordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and kitchen staff.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they are meeting the required standards.
- Operations Management
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that the restaurant is running efficiently and effectively.
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies, and manage inventory levels to minimize waste and ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key metrics to inform business decisions.
- Customer Service
- Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a prompt and courteous manner.
- Financial Management
- Prepare budget and cost estimates, and manage expenses to ensure that we are meeting our financial targets.
- Education
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role.
- Skills
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. The physical demands of the job include standing for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, and working in a physically demanding environment.
