Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled FME GIS Developer to join our team at CP. As a key member of our GIS team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing ETL workflows that manage the flow of GIS data and its integration with various systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement real-time and near real-time ETL workflows to manage GIS data and its integration with various systems
  • Support FME Server and Desktop processes, ensuring seamless data flow and integration
  • Develop and maintain scripts and tools for providing GIS analysis and output for business needs
  • Perform QA/QC to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and CP Change Management to deliver ETL requests and resolve incidents
  • Document processes and improve efficiencies to drive business value
Requirements
  • Strong background in Geographic Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Geomatics, or related field
  • 4-6 years of experience with FME and ETL principles, concepts, practices, techniques, and tools
  • Practical experience with scripting languages such as Python is an asset
  • Proficiency in ESRI software is an asset
