About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Architect to join our team in the Department of Cyber Security and Digital Solutions. As a Technical Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering secure digital identity services for the Government of Nova Scotia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement identity and access management solutions using Microsoft Entra ID, Entra Privileged Identity Management, and other relevant technologies.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver identity-based initiatives and projects.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance on identity and access management best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, standards, and procedures for identity and access management.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the department's identity and access management strategy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field, plus 5 years of experience in identity and access management.
  • Proven experience with Microsoft 365 Defender, Azure Security, and other relevant technologies.
  • Strong understanding of identity and access management standards, protocols, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
