About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Graphic Designer to join our team at Indo Canada TV Corporation. As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing and effective graphic designs for various communications materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Develop Graphic Elements: Create graphic elements that meet the clients' objectives, including logos, icons, and other visual materials.
  • Consult with Clients: Collaborate with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements, and content of communications materials.
  • Coordinate Production: Co-ordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual, or electronic materials.
  • Estimate Time and Resources: Estimate time to complete graphic designs and illustrations, and determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect.
  • Work with Team Members: Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers, and work with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Use existing photo and illustration banks, typography guides, and stay current with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field, and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field.
  • Work Environment: Non-smoking, air-conditioned office environment.
  • Work Setting: Urban area, corporation.
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficient in social media and other relevant software and technologies.
  • Transportation and Travel: Public transportation available.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail, sitting, large workload, tight deadlines.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, initiative, team player, work term: permanent, work language: English, hours: 40 hours per week.
