The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our banquet services, including supervising staff, coordinating activities, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our banquet services.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure timely ordering and inventory management.
- Hire and manage food service staff to meet the needs of our banquet services.
- Ensure quality control standards are met in food and service delivery.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other relevant metrics to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure seamless kitchen operations.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and relevant experience.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Knowledge of culinary genres and ability to maintain high standards of quality and presentation.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to supervise and motivate staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- 5-10 people in the team, including food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants, and kitchen helpers.
- Permanent work term with opportunities for growth and development.
- English language required for communication and customer service.
- 32 to 40 hours per week with flexible scheduling to meet business needs.
