As a Food Clerk with Federated Co-operatives Limited, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the Grocery Department runs smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Order and stock grocery merchandise to meet customer demand
- Merchandise and display packaged products to create an attractive shopping experience
- Receive and unload trucks, maintaining a safe and efficient workflow
- Maintain department cleanliness and housekeeping standards, adhering to safety and sanitation procedures
Requirements:
- Grade 9 or equivalent education and experience
- Previous Grocery Department or retail experience is an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. daily
What We're Looking For:
- Excellent internal and external customer service skills
- High level of integrity and work ethic
- Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written
- Flexibility and strong interpersonal skills to work effectively in a diverse environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to perform repetitive physical labor
Availability: Overnight shifts, Sunday through Saturday, 10pm-7am, with full availability.
